Modern working trucks rely on proprietary CAN-bus networks for warning chimes, reverse proximity alerts, hands-free voice prompts, and safety beeps. Splicing into speaker lines or bypassing factory amplifiers often breaks these critical audible safety systems or triggers dash warning lights.
The PAC AmpPRO series interfaces directly with the factory CAN databus to produce a full-range 6-channel analog RCA output (front, rear, sub) and variable optical SPDIF digital feed without cutting factory wiring.
Vehicle coverage and chime level management.
The AP4-CH41 (R.2) supports 2013 to 2024 Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles equipped with factory amplified systems. The AP4-FD31 covers 2018 and newer Ford F-Series and commercial platforms equipped with B&O premium sound.
A major advantage for commercial installers is software-controlled chime attenuation: you can adjust the volume of factory parking chimes and turn signals independently so high-output commercial sound systems do not deafen the driver during a reverse maneuver.
